To insert a 'live' (continuously updated) date, use {{date}} instead.

Usage

• {{subst:today}} causes today's date to be written into a page. The date will not change.

The template must be called with subst:.

In subsequent edits to the page, the date will appear as {{date|২০২৬-০৩-২৬}}, and — subject to the date reformatting rules available to {{date}} — in direct views as ২০২৬-০৩-২৬.
